An X-Trainer 8.2 SL Slimline built on a sloping site 3m above ground level, finished with natural stone.
This X-Trainer 8.2 SL was built on a naturally sloping site — the finished pool sits 3 metres above the ground level on the low side. That kind of build isn't possible with a standard fibreglass shell; we used Compass's Maxi Rib construction, which reinforces the shell so it can go in above ground without a full retaining wall footprint.
The SL (Slimline) variant means the pool is narrower than a standard X-Trainer 8.2, so it slots into narrower blocks. Finished with natural stone around the deck, the pool becomes an architectural element that sits proud in the landscape rather than being buried in it.
