Built to last, engineered to protect
Every Compass pool ships with technology and warranties you won't find in a standard fibreglass shell — some patented, all standard on your build.
Ceramic Core strength
Patented layered construction sandwiches a ceramic core between structural fibreglass — up to twice the strength of a standard fibreglass shell, engineered to resist ground pressure and thermal movement over decades in the ground.

Retractable in-floor cleaning heads pop up automatically, sweep debris toward the main drain, then retract flush with the pool floor. Add it as a package on any build — hours saved every week, especially with kids and dogs around.
Read more →Bi-Luminite 3D colours
A three-layer colour finish creates real three-dimensional depth — the surface sparkles as light hits reflective chips at different angles. Nine Bi-Luminite colours and five Vivid single-tone options.

Engineered defence against groundwater pressure — critical on sloping blocks, clay soils, and waterlogged sites where standard shells can lift or crack. Standard on every Compass build, with a transferable warranty.
Read more →Maxi Rib construction
Reinforced structural ribs let a Compass shell go above-ground, semi-inground, or on sloping sites where a traditional fibreglass pool would need a full retaining wall. Turns difficult blocks into architectural features.

Lifetime structural, 10-year cosmetic, and HydroPro™ hydrostatic warranties — all transferable up to 25 years and backed nationally by Compass Pools Australia. Peace of mind that stays with the pool, not just the first owner.

Which of these features are standard and which are options?
Ceramic Core construction, HydroPro™ hydrostatic protection and the triple warranty are standard on every Compass pool at no extra cost. Vantage self-cleaning, Maxi Rib construction (for above-ground or sloping-site installs) and your choice of Bi-Luminite or Vivid colour are decisions you make when configuring your pool — we quote them explicitly.
Is Vantage self-cleaning worth the money?
For most owners, yes — it eliminates manual vacuuming and improves water circulation, which usually means less time and lower chemical usage over the pool's life. If you're building for a family that will use the pool weekly, we recommend it. For a lightly-used plunge pool it's a smaller win.
Do I need Maxi Rib construction?
Only if your site can't take a standard in-ground install — that's sloping blocks, elevated designs, retaining-wall-heavy sites, or full above-ground pools. On a level block, a standard Compass shell is perfect. We'll tell you which one your site needs when we visit.
Are Bi-Luminite and Vivid the same finish with different colours?
No — they're structurally different. Bi-Luminite is a three-layer 3D finish with reflective chips suspended in a clear coat, giving a sparkling, dimensional look. Vivid is a single-tone solid-colour finish. Bi-Luminite carries a lifetime structural warranty; Vivid carries a 25-year structural warranty and 7-year cosmetic cover.
How does the triple warranty work in practice?
Three separate warranties run in parallel from install day: lifetime structural on the Ceramic Core shell, 10-year cosmetic on Bi-Luminite finishes, and lifetime hydrostatic on the HydroPro system. Claims go through us — we handle it with Compass Australia directly. All three transfer to new owners for up to 25 years if you sell.
Are these features on Express Pools too?
Yes — Ceramic Core, HydroPro and the triple warranty come standard on every Compass shell including the Express range. Vantage self-cleaning and Bi-Luminite colours are available across the Express range too. The Express range is a faster, more cost-effective build path — not a stripped-down product.
