Sanctuary 7.0 in Quartz — Kempsey

Sanctuary Quartz Kempsey
The story

A 7m Compass Sanctuary in Bi-luminite Quartz, installed 300mm out of the ground on a Kempsey block.

This 7m Sanctuary fibreglass pool was installed partially above the ground for a Kempsey family — a good example of how flexible the Compass shell is on blocks that aren't perfectly level.

The Bi-luminite Quartz colour throws large reflective chips through the water, giving it a bright, shifting depth that photographs beautifully in the mid-north-coast light. The pool is finished with a silver travertine paver — 1.2m wide on three sides and 2m on the front — with black flat-top pool fencing framing it.

Vantage in-floor self-cleaning circulates the water and sweeps debris to the drain automatically, so day-to-day maintenance for the owners is minimal.

What makes this build special

Features of this project

Semi-inground build

Built 300mm out of the ground — an easy way to add height to the deck line and let the shell breathe on a sloping block.

Quartz Bi-luminite

Large reflective chips give the water a bright, shifting depth that changes through the day.

Vantage self-cleaning

In-floor cleaning heads keep the pool clear without manual vacuuming — days back to the owners.

Silver travertine surround

Silver travertine 1.2m wide on three sides, 2m on the front — cool underfoot and a natural pairing with the Quartz colour.

Where we built it
