Triple pool warranty

Lifetime structural, 10-year cosmetic and transferable hydrostatic protection — all backed nationally by Compass Pools Australia.

Every Compass pool comes with three separate warranties, each covering a different aspect of the pool. Together they cover the shell, the finish, and the pool's protection against ground pressure — the three most expensive things that can go wrong with a fibreglass pool.

They run in parallel from the day of install, and they are transferable — up to 25 years — to the next owner if you sell the property. Buyers of Compass homes recognise that these are real warranties, not marketing.

The short version

  • Lifetime structural warranty on the Ceramic Core shell.
  • 10-year cosmetic warranty on the Bi-Luminite finish.
  • Transferable hydrostatic protection warranty on the drainage system.
  • All three transferable up to 25 years to the next owner.
  • Issued by Compass Pools Australia — a national manufacturer, not a small builder.

What each one covers

What each one covers

The lifetime structural warranty covers the Ceramic Core shell against structural failure — cracking, deformation, delamination. This is the big-ticket warranty, and it is genuinely lifetime for as long as you own the pool.

The 10-year cosmetic warranty covers the Bi-Luminite finish and gelcoat against fading, chalking, blistering and discolouration under normal pool chemistry.

The HydroPro™ hydrostatic protection warranty covers the below-shell drainage system against failure — the thing that matters most on our sloping sites and clay soils.

These warranties are issued by Compass Pools Australia — not by us, not by an insurance policy that lapses if the builder closes shop. Compass has been building pools in Australia since 1980.

Mark Pollard Pools is the authorised local dealer, and we handle warranty claims directly with the manufacturer on your behalf.

FAQs

Triple pool warranty — questions we hear most

What does "triple warranty" actually cover?

Three separate warranties running in parallel from install day: lifetime structural on the Ceramic Core shell (Bi-Luminite pools), 10-year cosmetic on the Bi-Luminite finish, and lifetime hydrostatic protection on the HydroPro system. Together they cover the three most expensive things that can go wrong with a fibreglass pool — the shell, the finish, and ground-pressure damage.

Is the warranty really transferable?

Yes — all three warranties transfer to new owners for up to 25 years from install. This is one of the most valuable things about a Compass pool at resale time. The paperwork is a single form Compass processes when the property changes hands.

How do I make a warranty claim?

You call us — Mark Pollard Pools is the authorised local dealer, and we handle warranty claims directly with Compass Pools Australia on your behalf. You don't deal with the manufacturer directly and you don't deal with an insurance policy that might have lapsed.

What voids the warranty?

The main things are: unauthorised structural modifications to the shell, chronic neglect of water chemistry (severely off-spec chlorine or pH for extended periods), or damage from third-party equipment installed contrary to Compass's specifications. Normal use, seasonal chemistry swings and standard maintenance are all fine.

Why does Vivid have shorter warranty terms than Bi-Luminite?

Vivid uses a different pigment system and gelcoat process — still high quality, but Compass warrants it for 25 years structurally and 7 years cosmetic vs lifetime structural and 10 years cosmetic on Bi-Luminite. Both include the lifetime hydrostatic warranty and both are transferable up to 25 years.

What happens if Compass Pools Australia stops trading?

Compass Pools has been an Australian manufacturer since 1980 and is one of the largest fibreglass pool manufacturers in the world. Warranty obligations are separate from any single dealer — even if a dealer stops trading, Compass's manufacturer warranty continues, and we can reassign servicing to another authorised dealer. This is one reason to buy a Compass rather than a small-brand fibreglass pool.
